- The leaders lead
- If there is a problem, you are responsible for it until you hand it off to the appropriate person who then accepts the responsibility
- Stick to deadlines
- Establish a clear division of responsibility
- Develop clear cut goals
- If you do not understand what you are supposed to do, either get clarification or specifically state how you would like to do it and get proper sign-off
- Require regular updates of status so everyone knows where the group is
- Continually put the individual pieces together to see how they fit
- If you disagree, say so
- Once a decision is made in the proper fashion, stick to it
