PBS Online
- One of the first organizations to broadcast educational programming
to schools and homes.
- The Corporation for Public
Broadcasting
- This site is under renovation, but there are links which include a 1994
study by the CPB called "Technology and Higher Education",
Public Broadcasting Internet Resources and an online directory.
- National Telecommunications and
Information Administration
- NTIA offers grants and assistance to various organizations for the
purchase, installation and support of technology for education. There
are ogranizations within NTIA such as the Office of Policy Analysis and
Development and the Institute for Telecommunication Sciences.

Distance Learning Critical Success Factors
- This page was created by TECFA, Technologies de Formation et
Apprenttissage(Training Technologies and Learning), located at the
University of Geneva. This site contains a wonderful list of abstracts
pertaining to learning methodology and infrastructures, economic and
market sectors, research and development agendas, social and cultural
concerns, managing learner support systems, costing and financing,
evaluation, dissemmination of information and visions for the future.

- This is also a glossary, with simple, straight foreward explainations
about telecommunications terms.
- Distance Ed
at University of Colorado at Denver
- A fairly current list of literature and research papers on Distance
Education. This site also contains lists of resources and Distance
Education providers.

Lecture Hall
- The University of Texas at Austin has created this site which offers
links to faculty using the WWW to teach classes.

- Quest, NASA's K-12 Internet
Initiative
- This site from NASA offers Online Interactive Projects which allow
students to talk to NASA staff. There is also grant information as well
as what school are online and an online educational resources page. This
site has won award from GNN, Point Top 5% and Magellan.
- International Baccalaureate Program
- IB offers a challenging course of study for highly motivated high
school students.
