Pit Bull Put To Sleep

A pit bull has been put to sleep after an attack that resulted in the death of a Syracuse man. Syracuse police say the dog killed a poodle that was out for a walk with its owner. Moments after the attack, the owner, 64-year-old Brunson Shuler, suffered a fatal heart attack. Shuler's family hopes today's decision in City Court will serve as a wake-up call in the fight to control dangerous dogs.
