In the first six years, FCF has treated more than 2,200 stray and abandoned cats!

Still, we want to do so much more...

Our BIG WISH for the future is to obtain a large enough grant that will enable us to hire a full-time Veterinarian to screen colonies, train volunteers, schedule caretakers for clinics and coordinate clinics with Veterinarians throughout Central New York. So many cats need our help and we have hundreds of people seeking our help each year! If you can help us in any way to get such a grant, please contact us at feralcat@twcny.rr.com. We will be happy to expound upon FCF's track record and our plans for the future! If you want to donate any of the items or materials below, contact us by e-mail to arrange for drop off. We will arrange for pick up, if you cannot come to us.

We have an ongoing need for supplies in addition to cash donations:

  • Tomahawk and Havaheart traps
  • New and used medium and large pet carriers
  • cases of paper towels and rubbing alcohol
  • old towels, blankets and sheets
  • 6' long (more or less) 2 x 4s left over from building projects
  • left over fabric and batting to make catnip toys
  • people who can sew, to make catnip toys using our home grown catnip
  • cat food
  • crafts that can be sold at fundraising events
  • valuable items, such as wine baskets, gift certificates, or other gifts, to be raffled off.
  • 2-0 chromic gut or PDS suture
  • 3-0 ethilon or similar nylon suture
  • Surgical light and stand
  • Otoscope
