Are these your relatives?

Here's where to find out. I've posted a portion of my family tree in hopes of finding people with whom I share ancestors.

I'm especially interested in any information on my 2nd great grandfather, Hiram HOLMES, and his probable father, Nathan HOLMES. This site includes a plausible though not proven genealogy of Nathan HOLMES.

If we are related, I may have access to information you can use. I'll be happy to do lookups for you. Conversely, you may have information I'm looking for!

Or maybe you're looking for Holmes ancestors, but your Holmeses are not my Holmeses. All is not lost. There are other Holmeses on genealogical pages out there.

I have online a transcription of the History of Hamilton chapter from an 1872 history of Madison County, New York.
