Our great grandmother, Julia Kenny (m James Brennan, m Milks), is hard to find information about. Her extended family is listed here with the hope that someone will see it and be able to shed some light. All we really know about her is that she was a hardy Canadian woman who loved her hockey. She was called "Grandma Milks" and, we've been told, was either full-blood, half, or quarter Indian, depending upon who was doing the telling. From the stories heard in childhood, and judging from her picture (scroll down), we would guess her to be quarter or half Indian. If this is true, we would very much like to know about her Indian ancestry as well. Algonquian and Iroquois are both represended in the area.

Julia Kenny (about 1870-1948), Gracefield, Qc., Ottawa. She married James Brennan (about 1890); Siblings: unknown.
Their son:
Robert Alexander Brennan (1892-1975), Gracefield, Quebec, Ottawa, iron worker, steeplejack; m Marie Angelina "Lena" Lachance at Ottawa in 1914. Siblings: Elizabeth "Bessie" Brennan (1892-1972), Mary Brennan (about 1885-1950), Georgina Brennan (about 1885-1950).
Their daughter:
Olive Eleanor Brennan (1920-) Ottawa, Canada m Charles Antoine Ranger, Jr., 1942. Siblings: Robert Edward Brennan (1918-1987), Floyd Noel Brennan (1923-1997), Bernice Brennan (1926-).
Their son:
Robert Charles Ranger (1945-) Ottawa, Canada, Syracuse, NY, musician, computer specialist; m Betty Ann Lewis, 1964. Siblings: Carol Ann Ranger (Carole Spencer) (1947-), Charles Michael "Mike" Ranger (1952-), Patrick Edmund Ranger (1954-).
Our daughter:
Jeanette Michelle Ranger (Born in the Syracuse "Blizzard of 1966") m Eric Andrew Zoeckler of Cazenovia, NY in 1984. Siblings: none.
Their daughters and sons include:
Michele Renée Zoeckler (1987), Reuben Lee Zoeckler (1989), Vernon Taylor Zoeckler (1991) and Charlene Grace Zoeckler (1993).
