This page is dedicated to all Central New York (the central region of New York State, U.S.A.) blues musicians and the preservation of blues music. As you may know, there are a lot of blues musicians in this region who frequently perform in the local bars and other places in Central New York (CNY). Several of them have toured around the U.S. Some get influenced by the world famous blues musicians, some create their own originals, and some play both styles. Moreover, you will find that a few of them are nationally recognized through their CDs.

When it comes to the open mike occasion in the bars, you can see a lot of talented musicians who are not belonged to any band but can share their music. Especially Syracuse, it is not only a used to be the salt city or a lake effect snow dumpster city or the boozy city, but also a bluesy city.
