• Rutgers University Seminar in the History of the Book got under way after 1997 planning by PG, Larry Scanlon (English Dept.), and others. The inaugural lecture was given by Robert Darnton on September 18, 1997; the second in the series was by Professor Meredith McGill of Rutgers University. In April of 1998 Peter Stallybrass (Penn) spoke (see the Seminar page for more details). (28 April 1998)
• Report of the (Rutgers) Committee on Electronic Publication and Tenure (HTML Text) (PG was primary author and Acting Chair).
