What is TriBeta?

Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is a national honor society in biology aimed to improving the understanding and appreciation of biological studies and increasing human knowledge through scientific research. Since 1922, when it was founded by Dr. Frank G. Brooks at Oklahoma City University, more than 175,000 persons have been accepted into lifetime membership, and more than 430 chapters have been established throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

TriBeta at Syracuse University

It is our honor to bring TriBeta to the SU/ESF students. The initiative of Dr. John Russell, Chair of Biology, and the drive of the Founding Group members have made TriBeta a reality. Our goals for this semester include lots of community service, academic, and social events for the benefit of our members. Without a doubt the culminating event will be our first induction ceremony which will take place in April.
