My interests span the field of evolutionary ecology. I have several projects underway: the evolution of cheating in mutualisms, the community context of obligate mutualisms, studies of escape and radiate coevolution, bioinformatic studies of species radiations, and phylogenetics of Depressariine moths. For more information on these projects and opportunities in my lab, visit the Research site. You may also want to visit the Syracuse University graduate program website.
Students who are interested in pursuing graduate studies in my lab should contact me via e-mail.
Projects vary from molecular phylogenetics to ecology and may involve both lab and field components. These projects are long-term commitments; thus, students should be prepared to spend at least 2 semesters working on a project.
More information about undergraduate research can be found on the departmental website.
Students should contact me via e-mail. Please include a list of biology classes you've taken and what type of research project interests you the most.
