he Vietnam war is well documented in movies, books and various essays.  These materials commemorate the people who died in a war they did not understand, for a government whom left them clueless to the extent of their danger--and abandoned disabled soldiers after the war ended.  One would believe that this was the most profound movement between 1962-73, but this assumption is one reached based on inadequate information. 
The Black Panther Party Movement, founded by Huey P. Newton, was a vigilante party.  This party, also known as the BPP, was formed due to the outcry of African-Americans in the South.  The movement quickly spread throughout  the North, and received the status of America's most wanted organization soon after.  This page will provide in-depth information about the BPP, their status in present day America and the likeness it has with its highly publicized counterpart--the Vietnam war.  n
