Welcome Snowmobile Enthusiasts I have put together somethings of interest. I live in the Central New York area and snowmobile on the Tug Hill. It always seem to get lots of snow even when there is non else where. Thank God for lake effect snow. This year I have switch to Arctic Cat. I have only own Ski-Doo. call me a trader if you must, but my wife said she would bring me over to the green side. Soon I will be ride a new Red F7 with the saber cat graphic. OK, it is not totally the green side but, I had to get something to match my jacket after all. She has used lamer excuses for a new pair of shoes - fair is fair. If you are a new Firecat own as well make sure you check out Rob's web site: HardCoreSledder.com He has a lot of information on the new sled. It's the place to be for the Firecat. Have collect over 1500 snowmobile links. They are all searchable. I just went through each of them to make sure they are still good links. I have been using a GPS for the last four years to document snowmobile adventures. I have made quite a few map using my GPS. Check back for them. e-mail I have found a great newsgroup rec.sport.snowmobiles. It is always filled with great information. Just click on the links above an they will be added to your news reader (usually the it is in you e-mail program). Join a local club where you ride. They are the ones that develop the trail you ride on and are the ones that keep improving them each year. Without the locals clubs busting their humps, you would not have anywhere to ride. Will help develop our trail systems. They also represent you at the state and federal levels of government. Proud member of Ironwood Sno-Goers. Have you been keeping up with snowmobiling news? Well there are groups out there that wants to ban your access to our National Parks and Forest. Make sure you join the Blue Ribbon Coalition. The BRC is a group that promotes wise usage of our National Parks and Forests. Their motto is "Preserving our Natural Resources for the Public, instead of from the Public." They are out there fighting for your rights. You. It does not cost much to support the sport you love
