This is my tale. I was born in Rochester, N.Y. May 16, 1968 in the Tribe of Simeon. I've lived in the city of Syracuse in central upstate New York most of my days.

My parents, John and Ginny, both work at Colleges and I have 1 brother, Dirk, a year my senior. My dad teaches Environmental Studies at a state college and my mom runs continuing Education at Cazenovia College. They have been very supportive of me in my interests in art, music, and even let me live at home for free at age 33(read couch potato).

I'm a graphic and fine artist, a drummer and a short story, fiction and music critic/writer. Somewhere around 1985/6 I got hooked on Jamaican Reggae music and I began buying any lp's I could get my hands on( mostly used records). My collection is now up in the hundreds. Through reggae music I came to know about Emperor Haile Selassie, of Ethiopia since many reggae artist are Rastafarians(who hold Selassie as divine).I got some books from the library and tried to learn about Rasta + Selassie.

About 7 years or so ago I befriended a local reggae shop owner who is a Twelve Tribes of Israel Rastafarian. Peter Simeon was also born on May 16th. He is great friend and mentor and is teaching me about the Throne of David, Ethiopia, Jerusalem, The Royal Monarchy, and Jesus Christ. I hope to someday know half of what my bredrin knows. Many thanks to you Simeon for your guidance + friendship.

I have had the pleasure of playing with a few bands reggae bands in Syracuse and New Orleans. Drumming is not something i'm great at, but I taught myself and most importantly I have lot's of fun at it.

The latest reggae band is the Eternal Riddim Band('ERB) Which features Jamaican "Scaramango" on lead vocal, jamaican Dub Poet RasHoward on poetry, the down to his ankles dread Papa Andy, Ross Molgano+ Jim Vurraro on keys and me on drums.

I'm a 1991 grad of Syracuse University. I have a BFA in sculpture, and a MA in Art education from Oswego State University.

I decided to try and help out guiding the next generation. Although I went to school for sculpture I also like to draw, do prints, paint and make computer art and i draw comics. I love african art, folk art and so called "primitive art". hopefully soon i'll have some of my art on this page.

After college I moved to the sunny land of enchantment Albuquerque, New Mexico and after that to the fun but dangerousNawlins (New Orleans),La. .After living hand to mouth w.out insurance for 10 years I went back to grad school and got my job teaching art at my old highschool. On April 1st 2001 I joined the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Their philosphy seemed a great fit for me and I have made great friends in my new family. While I am a TTOI rasta, my archive remains a compilation of many different sects and ideologies. I hope those seeking information on His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie will find some useful information in my rasta web pages. If you have questions send em on and i will try and answer or forward them to others. One Love! Ras Adam Simeon
