Each year, about 1,500 Syracuse University students and students from universities across the United States study abroad through SU's Division of International Programs Abroad (DIPA) at centers in London, Strasbourg, Florence, Madrid and Hong Kong, and at universities in many other countries.

The DIPA programs are a cornerstone of SU's internationalization and inclusion initiative, one of four signature experiences identified in the University's new Academic Plan.
